Another month hits the dust!

When I saw all your incredible responses to my “What’s in my Bag?” post, I decided to keep with that and show you what my favorites for the month are. They will be products, music, clothing, decor, or anything that I’ve really loved throughout the month. Ready?

s1586007-main-LheroThis is the prettiest perfume! It’s combination is so unique and fresh-I just love it. I also love how not everyone and their grandmother is wearing it quite yet. Notes: Apple, Watermelon, Lemon, Calypsone, Frangipani, Ylang- Ylang, Rose Petals, Freesia, Creamy Lactones, Blonde Woods, Musk, Amber, Nirvanolide. Tocca-Simone Fragrance

These shoes. You may think your judgmental friends will be thinking, “Do you tow your boat around town with you as an excuse to wear those shoes?” But no, they will-in reality-be awed by your impeccable style. It’s summer, and boat shoes are a classic accessory. Nautical is in, right? Wear with a pair of skinnies and breezy top this summer! Sperry Top-Siders

A Smash journal. This is pretty much the most ingenious way to scrapbook ever. Perfect for the lazy person who wants to keep memories. Each journal comes with a double sided pen/gluestick so you can just “smash” your pictures/recipes/love notes/pressed pennies/travel brochures/etc. I love it. Smash Notebook

I love Mary Kay in general, but this mini compact is PERFECT for my quick essentials. I love having everything I need right at my fingertips. Great for travel, too!  But because I have full sized makeup brushes I use on a regular basis, I like to use glue dots to keep extra product in the bottom where those mini brushes are normally kept. Right now I have Spun Silk, Hazelnut, Rose Gold eyeshadow, Strawberry Fields Blush in the top pan, and I have put Ivory 1 Pressed Powder in the bottom with a glue dot to keep it down.  Mary Kay Mini Compact

Oh, how these make me think of my grade school aspirations to become a famous detective! Nancy drew is just the light, nostalgic read I needed this month, and I loved thinking of all the times I sat and used to read them cover to cover. Some things just never get old. The Secret of the Old Clock
